The CapPol received complaint regarding some boys openly carrying and displaying gun from a car during evening traffic hours, accordingly the car and the youths were traced out and nabbed. The gun was found to be a lighter in the shape of a gun and the underage youths were apparently shooting videos for a social media account as Rocky Bhai. The parents of one of the boys were informed and made to pay penalty of Rs. 5,500/- for dangerous driving without a license.
Based on information received from Assam Police that NLFB(National Liberation Front of Bodoland) had set up training camp within the forested areas of Seijosa circle, Pakke Kesang, a joint combing operation between APP and Assam Police was carefully planned and carried out without a hitch. The suspected training camp was encircled but found to be abondoned upon close inspection.

Amidst the chanting of mantras by Reverent Lamas, the Governor was joined by the sons, viz Shri John Khathing, IRS (Retd.), Dr Darlando Thanmi Khathing, and one of the daughters, Prof. Sela N Khathing on the occasion. Major Bob Khathing is fondly remembered as Metho Saheb by locals of Tawang.
