ITANAGAR: On Thursday the Wake Up Arunachal Volunteers (WAVe) expressed their determination to boost the state's economy by accelerating the idle unemployed youths
The WAVe Chairman Bage Kamsi stated, "Our youths are only depended upon the government wherein the various means to contribute to the economy of the state is being overlooked"
He further bellowed almost 80 percent of commercial establishments in the state are occupied by non-indigenous people. And this is because our youth have failed to acknowledge the importance of dignity of labour,”
The NGO has sought to launch a youth empowerment movement across the state.
MR. Kamsi has expressed that he will start an awareness yatra, establishment of local food courts, saloons and employment exchange or consultancy services in plumbing, electricians, carpentry, automobile mechanics, etc. for local youth.
It also plans to impart skill development programmes on fish farming, mushroom farming, bakery and confectionery, pickle making, tailoring, babysitting, and providing home tuitions in local dialects, etc.
