Zen Garden at Civil Secretariat unveiled and inaugurated by HCM Pema Khandu
ITANAGAR: Zen Garden opens up in Itanagar, giving glaring and majestic looks towards the standing civil secretariat.

On Oct 8 Hon'ble Chief Minister of the state Shri Pema Khandu inaugurated the awaited planned zen Garden at the Civil Secretariat here in Itanagar.
"The denizens of Itanagar can visit and have a walk around the Zen Garden in the civil secretariat but they cannot sit here and have tea or drinks and spend time" stated Khandu
The Garden has been made for the beautification of the Secretariat and to provide a sense of relief to the staff working tirelessly in the civil secratariat.
HCM Khandu addressed the media that the government shall make the replica of the Zen Garden in the state's lone Indira Gandhi Park.
What is a Zen Garden??
Zen Gardens are often referred to as Japanese rock gardens which are believed to be a way to reduce stress, improve your focus, and develop a sense of well-being.
In the early sixth century, the Zen Gardens were created to aid medication by the Buddist monks.
