Will Govt ban WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter from May 26

On 25th February 2021 Indian Government introduced stronger IT Policies for the big social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram etc. Government asked the social media companies to remove any content which is flagged by the authorities and to appoint an officer in the country to set up a complaint redressal mechanism.
As, it was not an easy task to perform, the Indian government allowed 3 months to the said social media companies to comply with its new policies. New Policies will be effect from 26th May 2021 and social media platforms have not adhered. So this can cause Social Media ban in India for these big companies.
It is big-time trouble for the American based company faceboook as it it has earlier asked for 6 months of time to comply. While speaking to media about Facebook ban in India, FB spokesperson said that their aim is. to comply with the new IT policies of India and they need more support and collaboration from Indian government. If this does not happen, Facebook will be banned in Indian until it complies with the new regulation of government.
Twitter is the most used platform by Politicians, celebrities, sportsmen and other big guns of the country. As per the reports, even Twitter has not shown details related to the compliances to the new IT Policies. In neat future, this can be reason for Twitter Ban in India.
Some readers are confused if Instagram will be also be banned in India or not. Tell us to make it clear now, Instagram is also owned by Facebook, and Facebook and Instagram both have not presented compliance to the new polices. So there is no doubt that this will make the government ti ban instagram in India.
We wished that the ban does not happened as it will hurt the society socially and economically due to tussle between government and social media companies.
