ITANAGAR: The Capital Police has once again busted the two-wheeler theft in a grandiose manner. The Capital SP Jimmy Chiram has stated to the media briefing in Itanagar.
Why on News?
A short Notice was released by the Itanagar Capital Police claiming the recovery of the stolen 18 two-wheelers from the ICR (Itanagar Capital Region). The raid and recovery of those massive numbers of the stolen vehicle is one of the biggest success made by the Capital Police, stated SP. Capital.
Who led the Team?
As per the SP, Capital Jimmy Chiram (IPS), the team of capital police involved in busting the stolen two-wheelers was led by, SDPO Itanagar, Shri Kamdam Sikhom, Inspector Phasang simi, OC Itanagar, Inspector Mibang, Sub-Inspector AK Jha, and SK. Jha, Head constable kamgo and sangge, and other constables with driver included.
Significance of the News
The Capital SP stated that on 17th September the capital police received a complain pertaining to the theft of an FZ bike. The team of capital police found that the theft consists of a gang of lifters, after having apprehending an alleged thief Toko Gautam. The culprit was then interrogated thoroughly and the further story was revealed through him and found that Philimon hari as one of the main culprits behind the theft.
The capital Police claimed to have recovered 12 two-wheelers from the raid in an around kokila and its adjacent location.
Capital Police had to take help from the Assam Police while identifying and apprehending the culprits outside the state. With this total 18 two-wheelers have been reported to have recovered by the Itanagar Police.
SP Capital asserted that the team is still in the process of identifying and recovering several others.
