VKV ROING CLASS VII STUDENT TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

ROING: On 7th September 2021, a class-VII student of VKV Roing tested positive FOR Covid-19 on RAT, after Government's order to reopen all schools.
Having been interviewed by the SPACE Correspondent the VKV school principal Sri Prasanta Pujari informed that the particular student and his classmates have been ordered to follow the home isolation as per SOPs and other Medical guidelines.
Pujari assured that all mandatory Covid-19 SOP as per the Government re-opening order is being diligently implemented and all the students have been given relaxation regarding attendance.
The principal further stated, "the games and sports and other co-curricular activities which is based on gathering has been strictly avoided"
The school shall not be closed however the authorities shall take precautionary steps.
The parents of the students have also expressed despondency and complained to the authorities to not shut down the school just because of one student. The Principal has stated that the institution will take care of it.
He further said, "we have advised the students to voluntarily stay at home if any symptoms like cough, fever and other covid related sickness are being witnessed"
