Shillong's Cherry Blossom Festival bags three awards at the WOW Awards Asia 2022.

The famous Cherry Blossom festival of Shillong, Meghalaya bagged three awards for the year 2021 Cherry Blossom Festival at the WOW Awards Asia on August 20, 2022 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

Out of the three awards, two were golds for the Festival of the Year under the category Art, Culture and Lifestyle and Best Tourism Event of the Year and the other one being silver for Concert of the Year.

The Cherry blossom festival was organized by Meghalaya Tourism and managed by Rockski Group.

"We couldnt have done it without the attendance of all you lovely people and the teamwork and Support of Meghalaya Tourism, Deputy Commissioner Office, Shillong, Meghalaya Police and Rockski Group," states an official press release.

The WOW Awards Asia is one of the Asia’s largest recognition platform for Corporate Events, Experiential Marketing, MICE, LIVE Entertainment and Weddings. WOW Awards has been the epitome of cultivating and celebrating excellence in the creation of LIVE events since 2009 and the year 2022 marks as the 13th anniversary of WOW Awards.
