Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie Jawan tops the list of IMDb’s “Most Anticipated” Indian movie 2023.

Internet Movie Database, world’s most popular and authoritative source for
movie, TV and celebrity content released list of the “Most Anticipated” Indian movie
2023 based on the actual page views of the more than 200 million monthly worldwide
IMDb visitors/ users in 2023 so far.
The
list which consists of ten Indian movies includes Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan which
tops the lists, Adipurush, Gadar 2 amongst others. The movies are planned to be
released in India between May 1 and August 31.

Information
on first five movies from the lists-
After
the record-breaking success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan returns to cinemas
with Jawan which also
stars popular South Indian actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara making it their
debut in the Hindi cinemas.
Secondly
comes, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal which
stars Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, alongside Parineeti Chopra, Anil
Kapoor and Bobby Deol. This is director Vanga’s comeback after four years. His
last project was Kabir Singh
starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
Third
comes, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush. Om Raut’s Adipurush comes
after 3 years. His last movie was Tanhaji for which he received the 68th
National Film Awards for Best Popular Film. Adipurush is set to have its world
premiere at the 2023 edition of the Tribeca Film Festival to be held in New
York from June 7 to June 18.
Fourth comes, Gadar 2, the sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which will see
Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma reunite with director Anil Sharma
after 22 years.
Fifth
comes, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Sreenivas Bellamkonda starrer S S Rajamouli’s
remake of 2005 movie, Chatrapathi. It is Sreenivas’s debut Hindi movie. The
movie also stars Bhagyashree, Sharad Kelkar and Karan Singh Chabra.
