Rajasthan's Nandini Gupta wins Femina Miss India World 2023.

Nandini Gupta from Rajasthan was crowned the Femina Miss India World 2023. Nandini was crowned the coveted title at the 59th edition of India’s most prestigious beauty pageant; Femina Miss India organized for the first time in Manipur.
The Crowning Moment!
The
grand ceremony was held on April 15 at the Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak,
Imphal, Manipur and saw the presence of Bollywood celebrities, where Bhumi Pednekar
and Maniesh Paul were the host for the beautiful evening and while Kartik
Aaryan and Ananya Panday gave some scintillating performances and Neha Dhupia,
choreographer Terence Lewis was invited as the jury members for the grand
finale among others.
Another
performance that became the highlight of the evening was one put together by
the former winners, Sini Shetty, Rubal Shekhawat, Shinata Chauhan, Manasa
Varanasi, Manika Sheokand, Manya Singh, Suman Rao and Shivani Jadhav.
19-year-old
Nandini Gupta hails from Kota, known as the coaching hub in the country for
engineering and medical aspirants. According to her bio on the official
website, Nandini completed her schooling at St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School.
And now hold a degree in Business Management from Lala Lajpat Rai College and
has dreamt of competing in the Miss India pageant since she was 10-year-old.
And now that she finally won the pageant, she will represent India at the 71st
edition of the Miss World contest to be held in the United Arab Emirates this
year.
“The
most influential person in my life is Sir Ratan Tata, the man who does
everything for humanity and donates most of it to charity. Loved by millions
and always grounded,” Nandini mentioned in an interview with the pageant.
Apart
from Ratan Tata, she also mentioned Global India star and former Miss World
2000 Priyanka Chopra her reason of inspiration to embark on the Miss India
pageant journey.
“Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra, who received the national title at a very young age, likewise she made India proud at the National and International level. She gave back to society and excelled as an actor. She inspires people, has a great sense of humour and has the zeal to gain more as she grows,” she said.

While
Nandini Gupta was crowned as the winner of the Femina Miss India World 2023,
Delhi’s Shreya Poonja became the 1st runner up and Manipur’s
Thounaojam Strela Luwang was crowned as the 2nd runner up.
