Paper leakage Committee holds Press conference | Padang and Puru slams APPSC clarifications & other obnoxious rumors | The SPACE

On Thursday a paper leakage committee held a press conference responding to the clarification bestowed by the members of APPSC on Wednesday evening
On Wednesday the APPSC member conveyed a deep regret and apologized on behalf of the entire commission and shifted the entire responsibility of the fiasco upon accused deputy secretary-cum-deputy controller of examination Taket Jerang, who allegedly leaked the AE(civil) exam question paper.
Padang slammed APPSC members for mentioning the accused Taket Jerang as the only one involved. While speaking on the government's decision to constitute a high-level committee Padang said " If the government really wants to constitute a high-level committee, Then the entire examination held during the tenure of accused Taket Jerang should be examined and inquired."
He further went on to say that a proper investigation shall unearth various false and illegally recruited officials and bring out the new posts for the genuine aspirants.
"In the beginning when we revealed that the paper has been leaked, there were hullabaloos & a loquacious rumors that the complainant must have been a less studied candidate, therefore, he might have revealed about the paper, but now the truth is in front of everyone," said Techi Puru the chairman of the paper leakage committee (AE Civil 2022)
Puru went on to say that the commission had spilled a divisive policy within candidates at first by bifurcating them into "prelim" and "mains" aggrieved so that the main point of demands could be eye-washed and overlooked.
"In the year 2016 the same happen with the APCS aspirants, everyone knows about it, but today the commission had to bend its knees due to their own malicious practices" Puru added.
The committee burst out on the commission for wasting their time and life by having them questioned by their parents and society as a section of candidates who don't work hard, however, the present scandal has revealed every bit of truth.
Questioning the "free and fair examination" mentioned by APPSC members Puru said, " Where is the free and fair examination here in this case? only a candidate of their own selected one was given the paper, and having done with that the commission was about to quickly do-over with the recruitment without any trace of evidence"
The committee arose a series of questions about the middle man (Accused) Tama Saroh, How he himself must have been recruited? how his own wife who completed her studies through distance went on to crack the prestigious APCS examination.
"That's why we candidates had revealed about the paper leakage with all evidence, Hence that public who at first defamed u as the non-hardworking candidate who simply came for disrupting the process of examination should rethink and relook at themselves and instead join us for the protest," said Puru.
Commission on Wednesday had stated that “ few unscrupulous fraudsters have been known to approach candidates, claiming to be a part of the commission, assuring them selection in exchange for money. Their modus operandi is simple, lure as many candidates as possible, collect the money, return to those who fail, and retain the amount collected from all those who make the grade,” slamming this statement Puru said," if the commission had known about the unscrupulous fraudsters who had approached the candidates, how do they know about it? why don't the commission reveal that person or that concerned public who was involved in this serious scandal?"
Terming the scandal as the state's most high-profile case Puru highlighted that there could be chances of political involvement in it.
Taking into consideration of the recently held RWD J.E examination, Puru questioned the "Robust mechanism " mentioned by Major Rtd Jarken Gamlin (Member APPSC)for his claim to examine any examination conducted during his tenure for not substantiating the aspirant with the carbon copy of the preliminary and not displaying the cut off mark for it right after the recruitment process was completed.
"Those genuine candidates who crack, IIT, SSC, ISRO, etc come back to the state and fail in the JE examination, how can it be possible"? bellowed Puru
He went to say he open challenge the system by Live telecasting the examination along with the other favoured candidate by the commission, to see how the commission performs its robust mechanism in processing the esteem examination.
Puru took the report of the year 2015 and mentioned the arrested persons, all officials of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) which included, Joram Nagu Under Secretary APPSC, Nima Tondrang Joint Secretary, Bate Koyu Deputy Secretary, Debhasish Dey, Private Secretary to Chairman and Swaroop Bhattacharjee Personal Assistant to Joint Secretary, and quoted them as "left ventricles".
Further, he went on to say that the commission might have kept those left ventricles on the side and allowed the "right ventricles" to perform the scandal.
The "right ventricles" as he quoted include, "Suraj Gurung, Comptroller of Examination, Taket Jerang, Deputy Comptroller of examination,(Main accused), Lod Takar, Asst, Comptroller of examination, and other section officers and programmers"
He questioned the Standard of operating procedure of the commission as the commission deliberately failed this time, entitling the presence of "loopholes" in the entire mechanism.
He demanded CCTV footage of all the process of the event right from the store room where the question papers were sealed and kept, to every step till the preparation of the examination.
The committee in the end appealed the SC Capital Jimmy Chiram to further inquire and bring justice to the aspirant and also asked CM Khandu on this matter.
