INTERNATIONAL: After loquacious and motormouth talks around the globe NATO has broken its silence over the ongoing Russian-Ukraine conflict. NATO will now deploy significant extra troops to countries in eastern Europe that are part of the alliance, but UK ministers warned there would be no forces going to Ukraine itself to avoid an “existential” war between Russia and the west. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian government themselves was seen on the battleground, banning all the males from age 18-60 from leaving the country in order to protect their country. The baffling question remains will the west intervene and intercept Russia in its gruesome invasion of Ukraine?
Why in the News?
The 24th of February 2022 came as a devastating nightmare for the citizens of Ukraine when the Russian declared a full-fledged war against Ukraine, Since then the international forum has been witnessing vibes of war and its negative implications around the globe. All eyes were on the west, anticipation from the west nation, especially the NATO allies if they could intervene and intercept the ongoing war.
The deliberate sanctions from President Biden had not much of an impact on Putin, but the invasion continued, leading to the capture of capital Kyiv. Speculations of Putin's next move began to circulate around, leading to the pressurizing of the NATO members to set foot on the battleground.
