Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma urges the youths to participate in the conclave on the 19th of October

ITANAGAR: Twitter was jolted with the grandiose visit of the Meghalaya on the evening of 17th of October 2021. He was received by the NPP Unit Arunachal Pradesh at the Hollongi entry gate. The entry witnessed thunderous slogans of "Conrad Sangma" Jindabaad! and Bharat Mata ki Jai! It was one of the first times that the capital of the North-Easternmost State has welcomed the leader of a regional party in such a grandiose manner. Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma has arrived in the state for participating in the panel discussion on the "Regional Aspiration -National Outlook" which is scheduled to be held at the Dorji Khandu Convention Hall, Itanagar.
The conclave shall have two sessions from 1015 hours to 1245 hours, therein the first session shall commence from 1015 hours to 1045 hours with a keynote deliverance on "Striving for Regional Aspirations through Political Aspirations" and "NE's Regional Politics and Challenges"
The second session shall commence around 1145 hours with a panel discussion on "Interplay of religion and Politics-evolving scenarios in Arunachal Pradesh" and "Naga Peace Process, Politics of it and Regional ramifications".
Some crucial topics like "Refugee influx, ac challenge to Identity" shall also be taken up on the second of the 3rd Panel discussion.

The NPP iconic leader and the Meghalaya CM Sangma had visited and interacted with the party officials and even met the Bishop of Itanagar Catholic Church. Sangma expressed immense pleasure in knowing about the state's culture closer than before while having a glance at the cultures displayed in the State Museum.
Addressing to the Media CM Sangma while on a visit to the Bishop of Itanagar stated, "Our family has always been associated very strongly with the church, my father who has been raised, shaped and nurtured by the church,we owe a lot to the church, it has contributed immensely to the society, especially in Arunachal Pradesh there are many schools run by the catholic church institution, so it was my natural visit to the Bishop and very personal visit"
Further speaking on the conclave, Sangma urged people from different walks of life to come and participate in the conclave.
"Especially the youths I would like them to see this, know and understand both the regional aspects and the National aspects" added Sangma.
Sangma clarified that the conclave is not just about the politics but a platform that their party is providing to let the people discuss on the regional aspects. He expressed the significance of the regional aspects along with the National aspects.
"While we maintain the regional aspirations can we also ensure that National interest and the National Outlook is maintained, How do we balance the Regional aspects and National aspects " explained Sangma while talking about the upcoming conclave on the 19th of this month at DK Convention Hall.
