Joram Lali , E.E Clarifies the Fake Message circulating against the Power Department

ITANAGAR:  Two weeks back there was a wide circulation of a fake message in the name of the department of Power, stating "around 10:30 PM the power supply will be disconnected"

Joram Lali E.E, Power Dept. stated, "such disconnection can be done either by a person going there and turning it off or use a remote auto disconnection method which is probably not available here in the state because this is the feature of the smart meter"

Lali called the person responsible for creating a nuisance by misguiding the electric consumers as "over-smart".

The contacts of the authorities of the department are available to the public for any complains and issues related to the power supply.

Lali further mentioned, "Power dept has its social media account where the consumers can reach out.

The Department has filed FIR to the Superintendent of Police, SIT today I.e on 2nd September.
