Indian Army busted NSCN camp in Namdapha National Park under Changlang district

In a major jolt to the terrorist organisation, the Lekhapani battalion along with Arunachal Police, destroyed a major camp of NSCN in Namdapha Reserve Forest near Milestone 22 in Changlang.
The 3 Day long operation was based on a specific input and in challenging terrain of Namdapha which lead to huge recovery of AK 56 rifle with magazine, 46 rounds, 800gms of explosive and IED material with cordex and detonators and various other contrabands.
The NSCN camp at 22 mile area was sheltering 30-40 cadres for training and administrative setup. The camp hindered the move of locals and was nuisance for the comman populace,used for carrying out extortion and disrupting peace in Changlang district of ARUNACHAL Pradesh.
The presence of explosives like detonators, explosive gels and potash suggest evil plans of the banned outfit which were foiled by Indian Army at early stages.
The operation by Indian Army has negated the nefarious design of banned organisation and has bolstered the trust on security forces.
