    STATE: On October 26, 2021, the state got its first-ever Cricket Academy, viz Academy for Cricket Excellence at Nyorch village of Papumpare district. The event witnessed many guests, young cricket players and the state's cricket team, and most importantly the former Indian Cricketer Dinesh Mongia as the head coach of the Arunachal Cricket Team.

    The Chief Guest of the event Byabang Taj inaugurated the most awaited Cricket Academy herein in Nyorch village of Papumpare district. The proprietor of the Cricket Academy Shri Nabam Abo highlighted the significance of the need of the Cricket Academy in the state.
