It was anticipated that the attack and invasion of the
Taliban would take some time to overpower the existing Afghan government but
the Taliban fighters brought in a paradigm shift in the pace of their assault.
By the capture of Afghanistan's
capital city, the Taliban proved who's the boss on the throne now, having seen
that, several countries got alarmed and awaken by the tremors of the Taliban
invasion of the country. The Foreign Policy of each nation with Afghanistan got
affected.
But
the question remains,"How did a mere 2 lakh of Taliban soldier could
triumph over the 3.5 lakh Afghan Soldier?
1.
Taliban planned to capture cities along the border region one by one,
having noticed the gradual withdrawal of US forces. The news of US withdrawal
came as a boon for the Taliban, since they would have no great bottleneck in having
capture the nation.

Taliban realized that after they capture cities and confederate them as
Taliban province , it would be a serve them a better purpose while negotiating
the Afghan President “Ashraf Ghani”
3.
Taliban knew it was
needed to capture important cities, like Kandahar, Kabul, Jallalabad etc, wherein
Kandahar being considered as the birthplace of original Taliban.
4.
Stormed the
Presidential Palace after taking over the Kabul.
5. Taliban proclaimed to avoid any unnecessary bloodshed in the context of, if they be given the power over the existing system in Kabul, hence to avoid the bloodshed many Afghan Military gave up their weapon, culminating to the seize of weapons and artilleries of Afghan Soldier by the Taliban.
