Hardcore Eastern Naga National Government (ENNG ) cadre apprehended from the Namphai area

NAMPHAI: Lately on the 20th of November 2021, four hardcore cadres were apprehended by the Indian armies of the Lekhapani Battalion. The Jawans have proved their indomitable spirit yet again in the process of maintaining the tranquility of the region.

The districts of Changlang, Tirap, and Longding have always been a battleground for the insurgents and the Indian Jawans, where the former strives for their demands in an indiscriminate manner, the latter battles to maintain peace and tranquility in the districts of Eastern Arunachal, Indian Army has yet again triumphed in its efforts.
The Lekhapani Battalion apprehended the most wanted revenue secretary of ENNG along with 3 other hardcore cadres from the Namphai - II area of Miao circle in Changlang district on the 20th of November 2021.
The apprehends are Identified as SS Capt Wangjen Pangtha, Revenue Secretary, SS Sgt Hunsengla Semai, SS Cpl Mopai & SS Pvt Nyalu Pangsa.
The forces have recovered a set of Motorola phones with chargers, 5 basic phones, 2 smartphones, 8 sim cards, and foreign currencies.
According to the sources the ENNG cadres were caught based on the strong human and electronic input established by the Indian Army, wherein the cadres were supposedly involved in an extortion bid in the Miao division and Kharsang circle.
The sources informed that the Jawans had previously captured cadres of NSCN (K) and NSCN (R), wherein the cadres later defected to ENNG.
The timely action in thwarting extortion networks by the security forces has been proved and highlighted the indomitable spirit of the Jawans stationed in the region.
