Governor administers oath to APPSC and APIC members

The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) administered the ‘Oath of Office’ and ‘Oath of Secrecy’ to the newly appointed member of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and Information Commissioners of Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) in the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on 4th February 2021.
Major General Jarken Gamlin (Retd.) AVSM, SM, VSM took oath as the member of APPSC. Shri Genom Tekseng, Smti Sonam Yudron and Shri Gumjum Haider took oath as Information Commissioner of APIC.
Interacting over a high tea with the members of APPSC and APIC, the Governor said that their dedicated efforts will surely promote development and progress of Arunachal Pradesh. He advised them to uphold the spirit of merit, impartiality, accountability and transparency to make the State equitable, progressive and corruption free.
The First Lady of the State Smt Neelam Misra, Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu, State Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Pasang Dorjee Sona, Cabinet Ministers, Chairman, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Shri Nipo Nabam, and State Chief Information Commissioner, Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission Dr. Joram Begi attended the function along with other officials and public functionaries.
