The Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein called on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on 10th March 2022. They discussed about the ensuing budget session and other developmental projects in the State.
The Governor emphasised on improving the standard of living of the people and eradication of gender discrimination, illiteracy, unemployment, income inequality, etc. He expressed hope that budgetary measures of the State Government will facilitate the government machinery in meeting the socio-economic goals for the overall benefit of the people.
The Governor stressed on proper monitoring of expenditure and optimum utilization of allocated funds. He said that the Government officials should ensure that the last man in the queue is benefited from the developmental schemes and projects taken up by the Government.
