First Lady visited Miao and urged the womenfolk to maintain the essence of creative skill on weaving

MIAO: Graciously the first Lady had a momentous visit to the Miao sub Division of Changlang
district, wherein she extended her greetings of Rang-Frah festivals to the denizens.
The visit was on the 19th of November wherein she also emboldened the women to carry on the legacy of weaving.

The First Lady of the State Smt Neelam Misra visited the Miao Subdivision on 19th November 2021, wherein she had an interaction with the women folks, However, it was not a planned rendezvous.
The first lady extended her Rang-Frah greetings to the people of the region and while interacting with the women she urged the womenfolks to carry on with the traditional loin loom weaving. She further expressed the legacy of weaving should be carried on since it has been the intrinsic part of the ethnic culture and it carries the essence of the women of Arunachal Pradesh with creative skills.
" Loin Loom weaving is not only the core of women's expertise but also a source of their social and financial empowerment" Stated the First Lady.
The people of the Miao-Vijoynagar expressed their happiness to the first lady and his excellency in the Governor's visit to the region.
Later the First Lady visited the newly inaugurated emporium providing an outlet to the local artisans.
