Fake gun photoshoot proves costly for teenagers.

The Capital Police briefed the media that the Alleged Gun shown in the now viral video has been traced, it turned out to be a lighter.
The details of the case is that one Tayar Tekul (17 years) s/o Tayar Tagi was driving the EON car AR01H 9619 seen on the viral video today. In the video, the car driver is seen holding a gun outside his window in full public view. A video of the display was made, which went viral. The car is registered in the name of one Tayar Mish (brother of Tayar Tekul).
On receipt of the video, the Naharlagun PS team was activated and the SDPO of Naharlagun and Itanagar were alerted, and within two hours the car owner and the person who was driving the car were identified and located. After instant pressure from police team, one Shri Tayar Tagi with his wife came to PS Itanagar and produced the alleged pistol. The pistol turned out to be a lighter shaped as a Pistol.
On further enquiry, it was revealed that the boy alongwith his two friends, namely Lokam Tapin and Nguri Kewin were shooting as Rocky bhai photos and videos for their social media account, when passerby's captured the car and the boys in video, which instantly went viral.
The CapPol seized the pistol shaped lighter along with the car, which were brought to the Police station, wherein the parent was challaned for Rs. 5,500/- (five thousand five hundred) for dangerous driving & driving without license, and the boys were made to sign an undertaking.
