FLOOD SITUATION GRIM IN PARTS OF UPPER SUBANSIRI: DENIZENS EXPRESSED DISTRESS TOWARDS THE CONCERN MLA

DAPORIJO: The upper Subansiri district has been engulfed with incessant rainfall leading to a flood-like situation in several pockets of the region. The netizens have expressed distress against the slow action from the authorities.

The livelihood of the denizens of Daporijo has been immensely disrupted by the flood. 

DC Mika Nyori informed that the people living in vulnerable areas have been asked to take precautionary measures against floods. “WT messages have been sent to various administrative blocks in Kodokha, Taliha, Dumporijo, Nacho, Linking, Baririjo, and other places to urge the people to shift out of vulnerable areas and take necessary precautionary measures,” he said.

The netizen has expressed their melancholy over the Concern MLA Taniya Soki to at least have a look at the headquarter which has been in a dilapidated condition since many years.
