DNGC Asst. Professor clarifies and denies allegations on the force conversation of students into christiantiy.

ITANAGAR: lately on September 15th, 2021, Dera Natung Government College was once again engulfed and inundated under the shadow of the allegations pertaining to the forceful conversion of students into the Christian religion. A few days back the college in the mid-section of the Capital witnessed a demonstration against the APSSB over the suspension of its Chemistry Assistant Professor.
The college professors have been targeted by a Twitter handler with the name Legal rights observatory.
It tweeted "Horrible! Few professors at DN college Itanagar are shamelessly using their office of power to coerce indigenous tribal students to convert into Christian religion. Ministries of Christ Senki Park Itanagar also involved"
On 17th Sep 2021, the DNGC Assistant Professor Botem Tayeng clarified that he was shocked to have known about the allegation over Twitter.
Tayeng stated that he was unaware of the Tweet, wherein the tweet portrayed his image taking a Christian Baptism at Senki river, Itanagar
"I have lodged an FIR in the cybercrime branch against this organization and for any uncertainty on my life because of this bogus allegation in near future the Twitter handler shall be fully responsible". (Legal Rights Observatory) stated Tayeng.
The Principal DNGC Dr. M.Q.Khan with full responsibility on his shoulder said loud and clear that the Twitter handler has tried to tarnish the hard-earned respect and dignity of the institution.
"We decided to lodge an FIR against this account holder" added Khan.
