Arunachal Tug Off War team clinched Bronze in the 34th senior tug of war national championships held at Maharashtra

Maharashtra: The 34th Tug of war National Championships ended with a blissful moment for the Arunachal Tug of war Team as they clinched the Silver & Bronze medal.
The event was held from 21st to 23rd November 2021 at Palghar District.

Arunachal team won a bronze medal on the 34th senior tug of war national championships held at chinchani, Palghar Maharastra.
Arunachal’s senior men’s team lost 0-2 to host Maharashtra in the 680 kg class indoor tug-of-war final to win the silver medal in the 34th National Tug of War Championship (Men, Women & Mixed 4+4) .
Arunachal entered into the final after beating Telangana in the quarterfinal and Rajasthan in the semifinal with an identical 2-0 margin.
The state also won a bronze medal in the 620 kg class of the championship, beating Bihar 2-0 in the bronze medal event on 23rd of November 2021, the team had defeated Gujarat 2-0 in the quarterfinal before losing 0-2 to Haryana in the semifinal.
"The state tug of war team had won a bronze medal in the beach tug-of-war event on the 22nd of November 2021"informed Dolang John,Gen Secy, Arunachal Tug of War Association.
"It's a joyous moment for us " added Dolang John.
Dare Kagung (captain), Dolang Lucky, Rakesh Nibe, Kukung Tayeng, Padi Kojeen, Atum Sonam, LG Nalo, Dolang John, Likha Berlin, and Likha Raja respectively represented Arunachal Pradesh as a team, whereas, their coach Rakesh Gamnu expressed his immense pleasure on the state's team to have brought medal in the 34th Tug of War Championship.
