Alia Bhatt becomes the first Indian global ambassador for Gucci.

The
Bollywood celebrity who made her successful debut at the Met Gala recently was
announced as the first Indian global ambassador for the Italian luxury house
Gucci.
According
to a report by the Hindustan Times, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor will make her
first appearance as the brand's latest global ambassador at the Gucci Cruise
2024 show, to be staged in Seoul next week and which will take place at the
city's Gyeongbokgung Palace.
"The
show will mark the fashion house's 25 years in the country," the article
read.
The
news was confirmed by Gucci on Thursday on their social media handles,
"#AliaBhatt is the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the
occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur was captured with the
#GucciBamboo1947 bag."
“I’m
honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at a global
stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking
forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together,” said Alia Bhatt

Alia's
Met Gala outfit was hand-embroidered in India on silk tulle and made at Atelier
Prabal Gurung in New York.
Alia
Bhatt will be next seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer
Singh and will soon make her debut in Hollywood alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie
Dornan in Netflix's spy thriller Heart of Stone.
