The summer in the state brings forth not just the prevailing southwest monsoon with it but even the sorrow of nature, one such desolate and dire miserable story has been reported from the Aalo to Likabali Road. The road serves as a lifeline for many villages starting from Lower Siang -Leparada to West Siang and also to the Shi-Yomi district.
The team SPACE has received the latest report on the previous day i.e wed,25th August 2021, wherein the report stated, The roadblock in the region termed by the dwellers and commuters ass 25 mile is being dealt with as per required.
The PRO Shivam reported, "Restoration work couldn't proceed due to a huge rock blockage over the new formation cutting area whereas the rock breaker was unable to break it, and the frequent fog has caused the immense problem in carrying out the work due to low visibility"
The sources further reported that executing agency and NHIDCL authority has decided to use a chemical explosive on the fallen Hardrock from today i.e Thursday 26th Aug 2021, henceforth they have sought the grant of permission by the competent authority.
Meanwhile, sources from Kamba in the West Siang district had reported the rise of water level in the Kamba circle.
The kambu bridge that connects kamba and kambu village is reported to be in an alarming situation, The netizen who uploaded the video on social media confirmed it. The team SPACE had a telephonic conversation with the locals residing at Kamba town and confirmed that the Kambu bridge still stands strong and has not been washed away as per the social media rumors.
The bridge lies behind the Donyi Polo govt college Kamki. The dwellers might have difficulties in traveling unless the authorities look into it hastily before nature takes away another man-made endeavor.
