"Aalo Outdoor Stadium has been a failure, the contractor has to Surrender" Stated Hon'ble Law & Justice Minister

AALO: Hon'ble Union Minister of Law & Justice Shri Kiren Rijiu had lately visited the district of West Siang, wherein he took parts in inauguration function at Kamba vis-a-vis had a glance of the sluggard and slothful work progress of the construction of the outdoor stadium at Aalo. Rijiju expressed disappointment over such delayed construction.
Hon'ble Union Minister of Law & Justice Shri Kiren Rijiu had a tour to West Siang district from 14-15th November 2021 to initiate and inaugurate various development projects. While on a visit to the outdoor stadium at Aalo, Rijiju expressed disappointment of the sluggardly work progress on the ongoing construction of the only stadium.
"This is a complete failure" stated Rijiju while accompanied by DC Aalo Shri Penga Tato.
"This was the only ground where the people celebrated 15th August, 26th republic day and various other events, which has now turned out to be in such a dismayed and distressed condition" stated DC Aalo Shri Penga Tato.
The public equally shared their distress to the Minister and slammed the construction company who not only took so much time to complete the stadium but even contributed harassment to the entire public of Aalo and its adjoining regions.
"Government is ready to pay money but where is the work for the provided fund"? bellowed Rijiju
Further speaking he stated, "The fund was sanctioned at par with the various other stadiums in different districts which are in fact on the verge of completion unlike the Aalo outdoor stadium"
While on a conversation with the SPACE Media Rijiju outrightly said, "This has been a complete failure, the construction company should surrender and submit in writing so that the government could take over the work progress.
"Yeh koi tarika nahi hotai ki itnaa saal ek jaga ka stadium ko barbad karke rakhna" added Rijiju
Meanwhile, the denizens of Aalo warned of a democratic movement if the concerned authorities do not speed up their work progress within one month.
In the year 2018, the M/S T.K Engineering Consortium Private Limited took over the construction of the outdoor stadium wef 2/08-2018.
All the general ocassion were held at the Govt High Schol, Aalo football ground.
Sports and Youth Affairs minister Mama Natung while on a visit to Aalo on March 2021, assured the early completion of the Aalo Sports Stadium which had been lying defunct for almost five years.
Natung stated, "The state government is quite concerned about this issue and has also placed Rs 3 crore to start the work recently. More funds will be sanctioned from the government’s side as the work progresses,”
But the work remained slow and indolent.
