APSSB Candidate arrested in Tezu: Updates to be given only after full investigation
TEZU: On 3rd October 2021 a candidate while attending the APSSB Examination was caught with a cellphone inside the examination hall. The abrupt news went viral overnight creating a sense of despondency among the aspirants and the departments since it has now been a second time that such malicious activities have been found related to APSSB.
Why in News?
A candidate was supposedly arrested on the pretext of carrying a cellphone inside the examination hall which violates the very rule of the examination procedure.
On interviewed by the SPACE Media through telephonic conversation the source mentioned that the candidate who was caught namely Hindoso Kri works as a teacher in Sarit PrimarySchool, Walong in the Anjaw District.
A source at Tezu informed SPACE Media that no one had an idea about how the candidate went inside the hall even after crossing the frisking gate and coincidentally" his phone seems to be very new" the source stated , which was according to the invigilator who caught the accused.
The accused was then lodge an FIR by the Central superintendent.
The IGG college was informed about it thereafter he was arrested by the Police personnel in Tezu.
The under-secretary APPSB stated, "Apart from this one incident, entire examination went peacefully and smoothly"
Under the relevant section of the IT Act, he has been booked a case.
The Police department Tezu will update the further information after a full investigation.
